Cost: Free

How it works: The member price (Hilton Honors Discount): per Hilton, members always get the lowest price at all Hilton hotels when booking directly on Hilton.com or in the Hilton Honors app; Hilton does not publish the percentage. Points for stays can be spent together with cash (the points-and-money slider), and every fifth night on a reward booking is free. Honors points convert into Emirates Skywards miles: 10,000 points = 1,000 miles.

Cons

• The size of the discount is not named in open sources; the discount terms on hilton.com are behind a bot check and were not read
• The discount applies to direct bookings (Hilton.com, the app), not to third-party sites
• Combining it with card discounts (Mazaya, Fazaa, Esaad, ADCB) is unknown
• Some perks in the programme description apply to the US (Lyft, Amazon, Amex cards) and do not apply to the UAE

How to earn

• Members earn points for every night they stay source
• Gold members get 80 percent more points source
• Up to 160,000 bonus points per calendar year can be bought source

How to redeem

• Points slider: pay with any mix of points and cash source

• Gold — 25 nights, 15 stays or USD 6,000
• Diamond — 50 nights, 25 stays or USD 11,500
• Diamond Reserve — 40 stays or 80 nights and USD 18,000

Points exchange

• Emirates Skywards: 10,000 Hilton Honors points = 1,000 Skywards miles; minimum 10,000 points, in multiples of 10,000; the exchange cannot be reversed source
