What it is: Children's play centres / membership

Cost: Paid: Play Membership — AED 175 for 1 month

How it works: The Play Membership gives unlimited entry to the soft play area for 1 month for one child at Fun City, Fun Ville, Fun Works, Fun Block and Tridom across the UAE. A new membership is sold only at the counters; online you can only renew. The page does not say whether rides and video games are included: they are separate, paid with play packages on the Powercard (for example, 12 plays for AED 120). Birthday parties are separate packages from AED 55.

Who can get it: Children aged 1–12; one membership covers one child

Pros

• AED 175 a month of unlimited soft play instead of a single entry of AED 50–65 (per the chain's FAQ)
• One membership works at all the chain's outlets in the UAE
• 20% off the monthly membership with Fazaa, Mazaya and ADCB cards — in those programmes' offers

Cons

• No refund for unused days, no pause or carry-over
• A new membership only at the counter; online renewal does not work at Dalma Mall and Oasis Mall
• A child under 108 cm needs an adult with them; grip socks cost AED 5
